As per the IPO structure, Casagrand Premier Builder proposed to raise Rs 1,200 crore via fresh issue, while promoters Arun MN and Casagrand Luxor will be selling shares worth Rs 20 crore via offer-for-sale.

Casagrand Premier Builder, the Chennai-based real estate firm, has received approval for its draft document from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), clearing the path for IPO launch.

The real estate developer approached capital markets regulator SEBI in December 2025 by filed Draft Red Herring Prospectus for raising funds via initial public offering (IPO).

The SEBI has issued observations on the draft papers of Casagrand on June 8, 2026. The issuance of observations sets the stage for the company to launch IPO within the next one year.

As per the IPO structure, the company proposed to raise Rs 1,200 crore via fresh issue, while promoters Arun MN and Casagrand Luxor will be selling shares worth Rs 20 crore via offer-for-sale.

It may also consider raising funds up to Rs 240 crore in pre-IPO round, i.e. before filing the Red Herring Prospectus with the Registrar of Companies for opening IPO for the public. This is a part of fresh issue component.

Casagrand Premier Builder, which claims the largest real estate developer in Chennai, proposed to utilise Rs 900 crore proceeds from the fresh issue for repayment of debt availed by itself and subsidiaries, and the remainder funds for general corporate purposes.

As of September 2025, the company and subsidiaries had total outstanding borrowings of Rs 4,913.5 crore, on a consolidated basis.

Motilal Oswal Investment Advisors, and DAM Capital Advisors are appointed as the book running lead managers for managing the Casagrand Premier Builder IPO.
